I’m curious about the scanner – if my department already has a heavy-duty copier/scanner that can send me PDFs via email, and I have Adobe Acrobat for OCR, is there an advantage to getting the smaller scanner? Getting emailed documents is less automated, but adding another piece of hardware might not be worth the cost/bulk if the only upside is a bit of convenience.
